Simon’s career started at Saatchi & Saatchi plc working alongside Maurice and Charles Saatchi, becoming a key member of the team devising the company’s growth strategy. As Director of Corporate Development, Simon was responsible for the analysis, negotiation and acquisition of agencies worldwide and their subsequent integration into the Group. He was also responsible for handling all Saatchi’s corporate communications activities.

Simon left to become Group Commercial Director of the Blenheim Group, prior to establishing The Mellor Partnership in 1996. The Mellor Partnership is a headhunting firm specialising in making appointments to the Marketing and Communications sector.
