Personal information is any information about you as a person and includes details with respect to your name, address, gender, age, current employment and compensation, work history, interests, your personal references and other data that you provide online through submitting a CV or resume, and during discussions over the telephone or in meetings. It also includes the opinion of others regarding your work performance, whether true or not.

If you are a candidate, we ask you for information to consider your qualifications and interest relative to a specific opportunity, or to clients who may retain us to either recruit or introduce to them individuals with experience and qualifications similar to yours. The information you are submitting should be complete and accurate.
We reserve the right to disclose personal information to our clients who retain us to identify candidates and advisors with qualifications and experience similar to yours.
If you are a referee for one of our candidates, we ask you to answer specific questions to validate the information we have about our candidate and to explore his or her skills and experience relative to the role in question.
Your personal information will be viewed by and transferred between Hatton Grange staff and may be distributed in hard copy form or by electronic means. We may use your personal information to enable us to contact you with details of services, events, opportunities or other items we anticipate might be of interest to you.

In order to protect your personal information, Hatton Grange takes all reasonable technological safeguards such as security software and firewalls to prevent hacking or unauthorised computer access, as well as internal passwords and security policies.
We use our best efforts to ensure our clients, as part of their agreements with Hatton Grange, are bound to maintain your confidentiality and may not use the information they obtain for any unauthorised purpose. If we are asked to provide information in response to a legal inquiry or order, we will first ensure that the order is valid and we disclose only the information that is legally required.
Under no circumstances will we lease, sell or distribute your personal information to other organisations.

If you make such a request, we will advise you in advance if a small fee will be required for conducting a search and will respond to your request within 30 days, unless we advise you to the contrary.
